Found these items at a heavley grown in farm (MID-1850-ish).......
Siver dollar for size only...... :(
Belt buckle has stamped in it "PAT PENDING"....heart on it......
other two no marks.....
heavley encrusted iron ringy thingy from a horse ???
"L" shaped thingy is brass or copper about 2".long
Probably will not be ablt to ID these items but in hopes that someone
else has come across one of these to help me get an idea of the age of
this site in Forestville N.Y.(W.N.Y).

The heart buckle is definatly civil war period. Some say it is a blanket roll buckle, while others say it is a buckle cover for bridle. Good find@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
It is associated with Horse tack but evidently was used for other purposes as well. Not only decorative, but its intent was to cover small buckles. The tongue of a bridle buckle could snag on brush and other debris, causing real problems for the rider. Time frame appears shortly before the Civil War and up until the late 1800s/early 1900s. Can't see the other items very well as they appear dark in your pic. Good hunting, David @ Dixie
