I have discovered that vacation week enters into some kinda "twilight zone" time warp! It absolutely flies by! Anyway, I managed to get out almost every day and do a little "sand pirating"... I had a bunch more weights and pennies but gave 'em to kids that were following me around.. (I felt sorta like the pied piper with a trail of young 'uns) Man, they love to help you dig!

I cleaned up the grungy looking ring, and lo and behold, it's silver. Not gold, but I'll take it! I've attached a couple of more photos so you can sorta see a before and after...
