Hi all i just picked this detector up unreal low price it,s in brand new condition never used , what is the difference between the XS2 Pro and the XS2 is it just the Pro comes with a meter ? and is the meter a 550 or a 180 ? not that i really need a meter i have 3 now , I been using the GT for 5 years now this XS2 looks a bit simpler I cant wait to try this detector it comes with a Tornado 10 inch coil and a S- shaft which is ok with me . Thanks for any information Jim HH

Jim,I think the Pro came with both the 800 and 1000BBS coils. The XS-2 is a great detector, mine were always stable and trouble free.I never liked the pressure plate battery system,it's very simple fix to convert back to a plug in connector on the earlier models. Good Luck HH Ron

The difference is the Pro came with the 550 meter, the XS2 didn't have the meter and believe there was around a $100 difference in them..
The XS 2 was as good as the XS if not better and it came with the 8 or the 10 inch BBS coils, mine had the 10 inch coil and found the older 8 inch coinsearch coil I had on my XS would do a better job, so I switched mine to the 8 inch coinsearch coil and shorten the cable and the Sovereign I dig my deepest coins with until the Sovereign GT.

Thanks all for the help  for some reason this brand new unit came with a brand new Tornado 10 inch coil not a BBS Coil which is a bonus , i want to try my Coinsearch coil and see how good it works on this unit , ill take the 550 meter off and put Rons 180 meter on it then hip mount the box . HH all . Jim
