A few practice hunts with new Gray Ghosts ndt's

Took out the MXT for a couple of hunts with new head phones. I cannot believe how different the sounds are; a lot more treble and very little bass. I can hear the crackle of the foil targets and the double beeps of the pull tabs. It is like using a whole different detector. Anyway... I found in the one pic with the hearts a 14k gold overlay on the broken heart, the Virgin Mary is a silver overlay. A small horse locket ( for my granddaughter Amelia Lauren - a horse lover) and a copper ring. Today I hit a 14k gold filled with sterling ring missing the center stone and a sterling silver 925 tiny braided ring. I post the rings to show what a difference a good set of headphones makes on tiny targets. Found 28 clad quarters, 20 dimes, 10 nickels and of-course pennies along with a Costa Rica Coin worth 20 cents! I could not miss that big fat butterfly pendant at 2 inches. Hey ... it was fun and paid for the gas out. Now to see if I can hit some land rings that are a valuable as the rings I found in the water this summer. Bought 2 x 72 ring display cases and 1 - 8 ring case. Now to fill them up. Good luck to all - Easy
