A few pictures taken with a Sony 75-300 Kit Lens...............

I drove over to the nearby duck pond to test a Sony 75-300mm F4.5/5.6 Kit lens on my Sony 200A DSLR. In the past, I have used this lens to take a few flower close-up pictures and was satisfied with the results. Now I wanted to see how it performed out in the field.

Below are a few test pictures that I took today. The lens did produce reasonably sharp pictures with good color and I am satisfied with he results. I do think that I should have used a smaller aperture, maybe F11 instead of the F7.1 that I used. Kelley (Texas) :)

This is a picture of some water turtles on a rock in the middle of the pond.

They look good to me, what kind of fowl are these? Geese, or silly ducks.............lol. nge

Most of the ducks appear to be just plain old ducks. There is one long neck duck, probably a goose duck, that is ill tempered and likes to attack people, but I try to stay away from him. He pretty near nailed me the first time that I went to that duck pond. I don't like him. Kelley (Texas) :)

He or it, would look fine gracing my dinner table.......lol. Nge
