great detail and color...what camera/lens did you use? is it handheld? I've tried those type shots but never seem to be able to get them that sharp
 
Thanks for the comments........the camera is a panasonic fz200 used on the macro setting.This equates to 25mm with a closest focusing distance of 1 cm from the subject.All the shots were grab shots,handheld with a 2.8 aperture and iso 200.The camera accepts a close up lens and adaptor which I plan to purchase soon.....this will allow more of a "proper" macro lens set up and should give much "closer" results.
 
Incredible close-ups and such detail. Thank you for letting us get a little closer to the insects too.
