Wanted to go beach detecting but money was looking a little funny , so i stayed local and I'm glad i did. I recovered two Minnie balls one 1892 IH and a small axe which i plan on cleaning up tonight. I would like to know has anyone seen a broach like this one before. It wasn't the beach but I had a great time saving history.Today was a good day.HH

It looks like your right on.I cleaned the axe up a little better . I think it will be a nice winter project to work on restoring .HH

There are so many things this city boy is learning about. I just love this hobby. The froe looks like it was well used also.Thank you guys. HH

It looked like a piece of one. I have one here that I use every now and then. It's relaxing to sit under the pecan tree in the back yard and, as my grand pa said "Make boards" out of cypress. Glad I was able to help...d2

Good job. I love the condition of that IH. Good hunt. CCH
