A few of my finds with the X30!

The past few weeks I have strictly used my X30 and have given the X705 a little rest and time to think about its purpose in life(lol). I think I have had a great past few weeks. I have always like my X30. Very easy to use(no bells and whistles) and it seems to be a nickel and Indian head penny sucker.
Found a lot of clad and pull tabs, but was able to find these coins in highly detected areas thru the years! 1891 is a V nickel( they always come out of the ground very corroded) and the silver seated is a dime. None of the coins were to deep, bout 2-3 inch range. That's were most coins up here in MA from the mid 1800's to late 1800's are.
I just might go back to being a one machine kind of guy!!!!!!!! I really do enjoy the X30. Happy Hunting....Emmett

You are doing well with that 30. Nice coins. I have got to get out some more. But I have been so busy.

Nice finds.

Those are some real nice recovery's , I, like you, know the X30 is great MD!! WTG:clapping:
As an entry level MD, the X30 was an awesome first detector for me that hooked me on Minelab and MDing. It found me so many great finds right from the get-go and still works great after 10 years. When I find someone that is thinking of getting into MDing I start them out with the X30 and they are so impressed with the ability and ease of it that I'm often asked if they can buy it........NOPE!! Not for Sale.

Bob Oz, exactly! I feel the same way with your whole post! I still to this day have found the big bulk of my silver and copper and 2 gold bands with the X30. Think I'm gonna use it all this fall. 7centsworth, fall is my favorite time of the year to hunt. I do very little detecting in the summer, To darn hot. Its been since around the middle of may that I have been out detecting so I'm gung ho right now!!!! I like spring also for m'ding. The ground isn't covered with growth yet in the woods. Happy Hunting all! There is still lots of neat stuff out there to be had! Emmett

Great finds WW!

I don't think that there is such a thing as a bad Xterra....they're all weapons of mass detection. I'm trying to get out for a few hunts on fields right now before the snow flies myself.
