A few nice business trip finds...

Have not been posting much and just a little lurking in the background as I am on a business trip for 21 days, last week of the trip and Monday finally arrived. It has been Monday for a long time, LOL. Have been out after work detecting most days doing night hunts. I lived in this area for over a year and will be moving back soon so I had a few hot spots I knew of and have been concentrating on those areas. I was happy to see the field I wanted to hunt being harvested of sugar beets my first day here. I asked the farmer if he minded me detecting the areas already harvested and he had no problem with it, he asked everyday what I had found as it took three days to finish the harvest. Here

My business trips are never that productive. :clapping:

But I have to agree with Don. My business trips were never that productive! For the last 5 years of my "working life", I criss-crossed the US nearly every week. You couldn't begin to count the number of times I wish I had my detector with me. :rage: Thanks for sharing the pics and the story. HH Randy

As always, I enjoy looking at your finds as they are so different from what we find in the States, but is seems that corrosion is worldwide. I try to leave that green crust on coins when I find them, I call it the detail layer. But I have been guilty of scrubbing it off in an attempt to find a date and always regret it. Ron
