got this nice 1953d franklin half in an area ive search alot of 3 years now, walked right up and my 1st hit was the half, also some wheat1es , 2 play dimes
 
Nice Franklin. Was it deep or just out of the way? I always wonder how those big targets avoid getting found. Or maybe just avoid getting found by me. :lol: HH
 
It was in the parking lot ,(mostly black river sand soil) of our legion park and baseball field) dates to the 1920's and was the railroad depot and yard at the turn of the century , ive detected the same are for 3 years and i still get coins now and then and its been hunted for years before i started , ive found a lot of mercs there and some rosies, lots of wheaties , the half was about 7 to 8 inches down the the sandy soil we have here.
