The Lord has given me such a great new wonderful life,.A wonderful wife,and a wonderful Church /Worship life,a great outlet for my own songs(everybody loves them,naturally!!!),.Unfortunately,when that song Co. in Nashville started 'crowing' about my songs,I got stars in my eyes,wanted more.I treated some folks on this website none too nicely,said for them to mind their own business.I surely was a fool......I will say this:I also sent my first song,'Clancy'c song/ Play me home' lyrics,to a 'song of the year' contest,no money whatsoever involved,no promises,nothing,I did this,just for the 'Why not? Thing....I got 'honorable mention',shown in the picture here.........Now,I am not saying 'SEE,I TOLD YA SO!!!',don't think that.Iwas surprised,when I got the E mail before this award came,telling me I got this.........As for now,I have come down to earth,no more 'stars in my eyes'....I was simply shocked,when I won this......Anyway,I want ask for forgiveness again,to everybody I grouches at,concerning this.Warthog Steve.
 
I, as a Sister-in-Christ, do understand and I forgive you but no need for forgiveness on my part! I, too, would get excited for being mentioned about my song writing (although I write Christian poetry and a few songs for the Lord; and our Lord gets the glory and praise but also it is nice to know that there are those who like what we write and what you sing and play! When we believe and accept Jesus as our own personal Savior and Lord, we are called according to His plans for us to serve Him in whatever talents and gifts He gives us; so, therefore, we are not to hide our talents in the ground or hide our lights under a bushel, for these are for glorifying God and helping others to know Who Jesus is by our witnessing in the way we are to witness!
