A Few More Rings Today

New member
My son and I found a few more rings today. My son found the Silver one and I found the other 2. I am going to check and see if the diamonds are real. The diamond ring has 18K at the beginning and a few other letters on it. But I found the ring in very alkaly ground and the gold was gone. This leads me to believe the diamonds aren't real. But it took my breathe away when I found it. 2008 has been really great to us so far.

Great finds in my book...

RE: Nitro....I have a ziplock bag full..

My experience ..you get on average 1or 2 honker diamond rings and 1 or 2 platinum rings for every 100 gold rings you find.....

at least in these waters..

Good luck next spin mate

But if it is set in 18k......it sets the mind to wondering if it indeed is real ice!.........get it checked out!

Wow what a nice Looking ROCK??????????????????? So the next one could be real N the other 98 would be fake right??
Good Looting Mate!!!!!!!! MickFin,

Lovely trio there jst4thn! What exactly you have there is a mystery indeed! If you clean the inscription and reread it with a loupe, look for it to say 18KGE, indicating 18 karat gold electroplate and more than likely CZs. We call that nitro, because it is a nitro pill that will put you right again, after the heart stoppng experience of seeing such a fine piece ascoop! Which of the other 2 rings are silver? Was unable to tell specifically, by your details mate. Great hunt to you both!

The larger ring by itself on the left is the silver ring size 13. Sorry for the bad details. Thanks for the ring info. :beers:
