A favorite place for me to look is on the thistle plant near the road. Lots of critters go there for a dinner. These little spiders were handy

I saw this little inch worm??? on the shed. Looked like a stick to me but I touched it and saw it was alive.

I turned over a log and found this little salamander and some kind of grub.

Last but not least I came across this little hopper.

I've seen a few of those "sticks" hanging around before. They sure do look real. Again, Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me! Nice pics, Royals!
 
I like the salamander. Looks like your getting used to the macro. they came out really good. Those stick bugs are interesting. I used to see them in Ohio but haven't seen any since living here.
