Today I returned to the property where I had found the barber quarter a few weeks ago. The snow is mostly melted and the ground was diggable in most places. My buddy and I gridded the area pretty slowly with not much to show. I dug zero coins in a few hours time and my buddy dug 2 or 3 clad. I think the area has been pounded and the barber quarter was missed by others in the heavy iron. So we knocked on a few door and got permission at nearby properties. The first yard was a bust. With little time left to hunt, the last yard came through. We ended up with 5 silver from one yard between us. I ended up with a roosie, washington quarter, and barber dime. The barber dime is (no joke) the deepest dime I have ever dug with the 6x8 sef coil, just shy of 1 full lesche digger length. (Sorry, I didn't get the tape measure out while digging but I did check it with the lesche.) At first I thought it was iron as it wasn't repeatable from any direction, but I could get intermittent high iron sounding tones from multiple directions so I decided to dig. The sunray probe told the real story as I got down deeper. It felt great to be out after a few weeks of cold weather. Here is a group shot and a few pics of my finds cleaned up. Thanks, JJ
