Got a few more minutes to post some more photos.
First up is my best silver coin of the trip, a 1679 charles the 2nd, 6 pence. Its one of the first milled coins of the UK, following hammered coinage up to 1650's I believe.

Heres an interesting buckle that I think is Saxon, but not entirely certain, will have to wait for the ID, bronze and still functioning. Got real close to one of my Staters.

One of my favorite finds is this Roman Dice made of lead and in many referance books, very personal artifact and glad I got one.

Next up are two pieces of Roman pottery, the Black Samian is very rare and only the elite used Samian.

The last pic today is the largest silver coin I've dug in the UK, and although not very old was still cool, 1922 Half-Crown, about the size of a 50cent piece.

Hope you enjoy!! Will post some more as I get time. HH
