These finds are from several sites i've been to in the last couple weeks. All of it was found with the E-trac, although none of it was very deep, most of the finds were in among the null(iron). And for bugaloob, this is from many hours (30+) of detecting and digging. It's slim pickins if you're going to known, public places that have been hunted for years by detectorists with experience, but there's still a few in there. can't wait to find a prime virgin site, unprobed by any...till then, this is what i got. Sorry, haven't cleaned the clad, but then it's clad so you understand. HH

Nice hunting there.
In the junk pile, center almost bottom, looks like a canning lid that may be one of the zinc rim porcelain lined ones. Kind of dates gardening and canning activities to the range of those nice Mercury dimes you got, when everyone canned.

Here's pics of one for sale today for $1.50.

I did find what appeared to be white glass in the same hole with the lid. I cleaned the lid after seeing this post, and it says,"ball" in cursive:shrug:

DirtDean,
I did another quick search and found a Ball porcelain lined zinc lid advertised for $7.50.
I like finding the jar lids and other things that talk to how the folks lived.
Hope you find many more goodies.
