My last two digs as of Oct 11\13. I wanted to get out this weekend but we have company coming. I hope that I can get out tommorow as freeze up is only weeks away. -3 last night and it takes until noon to get above zero.

Nice large cent and silver and wheats. I love that marble. Even tho I'm expecting coins and jewelry when I detect, it always makes me happy to find a marble in my scoop. HH. It's 84 degrees in my state and low-50's in the am and I was wondering how cold the water was going to be today. Since I broke the mounting bolt on my coil, I want get to find out for a few days.

nice scoopin there on the coins and lead? army guy too, I know what you mean about it gettin cooler. I heard a fellow say the other day were are supposed to have our first snow storm first week of November, geez thats way to early lol. HH

Nice old coins, cats eye marble, lead soldiers usually date to ww1, that forked piece looks very much like a door handle tool to remove door handles and window crank handles on older cars.

Your state sounds wonderfuly warm. Yes, I love marbles. I am just as happy with an older marble as with a coin. :detecting:

I used to be in southern Ontario and I have seen rain on Xmas. Here in southern Sask it is usually snow around Nov. 1 and it stays until late march\early april. This year was a very late spring. I drool to think of what I could find in Ontario. I am in a town of 30,000 that has been detected hard for years. It takes a lot of imagination and some butt kissing for permissions to find what was missed.

That's a bunch o' wheaties for up there! Nice marble and soldier, too! :clapping:

Thanks, actually I used to live in Prince Albert Saskatchewan, much, much further north from here. I was right on the edge of the Boreal forest and we used to find 20's wheats up there even. That was also were I found my first I.H. Those coins sure get around !

You do that to eh lol, kiss a few royal butts to get a pass lol. Man's gotta do what he has to to get the goods lol. I just got a built in 1840 stone house with full permission to detect anywhere on the 5 acres, and they don't want any of the finds, they have it listed for sale, really nice folks. HH UN. Cheers.

Nice! I too find a lot of wheat cents in Edmonton.

I sure check every one of them. The lil' boogers could be a 1914 as easily as 1940. :detecting:
