A few jewelry finds

I don't normally post pictures of my finds but looking at you guy's ring photos encouraged me:thumbup:

Here are some of what I have left unclaimed (if you know what I mean) or I wont part with. All found with various machines. I usually don't keep the trash rings very long but there are couple of junk dolphin rings in the back. I go through my finds and throw the junk away about every three months so those will probably get trashed soon.

My best one is the one with the turquoise and jade stones. It is a Native American hammered silver ring and best guess it was once a silver half dollar before it became a ring.

My second most favorite is the little silver butterfly ring. That was one my Dad made for one of my sisters. I found it on a trip back home when I was detecting my grandparents back yard. Interestingly enough, she doesn't remember it. Someday I'll get around to getting them back to round.

One really neat find was the decorated lead fishing weight. There was a lot of effort put into that.

Nice digs, I to have a bunch of junk rings that I yet have to part with some where in the neighborhood of forty or so nice pics.

Nice finds Mike.

That fishing weight is amazing.

There are local crafts going on around here.

There are new and inventive ways of artist showing their wares.

Never know. But that seems unique to me.

Thanks for sharing,
