I found these items recently and thought I'd post them for you all.
The silver ring and the little brass stud were found yesterday at a school yard.
I believe the stud is part of a sword hanger and is used to fasten the loop at the bottom of the leather strap.
I found one some years ago and believe that is what I was told it was used for.
It read like a dime on the VID.. matter of fact, I thought I had a silver dime by the signal.
The ring read up around 32-33 and I had no idea what it was going to be.. had dug a couple pieces of large items shortly
before making this find and thought maybe it was going to be that.
Last weekend I found the British penny at another school.. it read 23-24 on the VID.
I have really been impressed by this Equinox and have found over 20 silver coins so far this year.. mostly dimes, but some quarters occasionally which are rare for me now.
