I liked it both ways....
These images were done with the Nikon D1X
 
going to wean yourself from SLR to digital? Seems the D1X is getting you some great pictures. How do you prepare your pictures to be given to your customers if you are using digital? Or do you use both SLR and digital?

This particular wedding that Jay and shot this past Saturday night was in the upper echelon of weddings so we shot film and digital. They will get a copy of the film images and a cd with smaller .jpg's
Jay and I are going after the "carriage trade/upper echelon" weddings now. That package for those customers starts at $6500.00 for the entire day and both of us. It includes a 3 volume album set for the bride and parents albums for the parents. I've been wanting to get into that upper crust for a while and looks like we are on our way. It will be a gradual phase in though. As a business man I just can't drop doing the mid-range weddings cold turkey. My image and name needs to start filtering those upper circles. It's already started doing that.
