A few hours at the lake

I spent a couple hours at White Rock Lake in Dallas Texas today. I really thought I would find silver today.
The first coin I dug was the 1949 Wheatie, however that was it except for tot lot clad.
It was a very nice day weather wise so its all good.

Hey pocket change is pocket change! Sure silver or GOLD would be nice but just toss that clad stuff in a bucket and do that every time you go out detecting and "just find some clad" save all that clad for a couple of years then take it to the coinstar machine and reap your rewards. That is what I am doing. I figure if I do that long enough I will have a nice "paycheck" after a couple of years. Of course I will probably need a handtruck to get the bucket to the coin machine. About wheaties. I found two on the beach last week. A '27 and a '58.

That clad adds up fast. I use it to buy gold and silver coins. Coinmetamorphis as John calls it.

nice start, keep detecting and collecting!!!:detecting:
