A few hard ground finds - 1917 Waterloo Boy Tractor Fob / Sterling Onyx Ring / 3 Ringer Bullet

Finds were made fairly close to home. I had to avoid the shaded areas of the parks as the ground is still hard in most places.
The old tractor watch fob and the buffalo nickel were every bit of 10+ inches deep.
I found new examples of this watch fob online that had very good value.
The NEL Thunder Coil also hooked in to another Sterling ring.

The tiny religious medal gave me 12-33 numbers @ 7 inches.
The 3 ringer civil war era bullet gave me similar numbers and was about 8 inches deep.
Also found were a Princess Pat makeup Compaq and the top of a Lady Esther Compaq circa 1930s-1940s.

Silver dime is 1964. Nickels are 1937,1941. 8 Wheat pennies are back to 1920.

How long were you out there? Was a nice weekend.

That is an awesome watch fob. Very nice little hunt. Always love a good variety.

Hey Randy,
Started swinging about 9 am on Sunday and hit a few spots until about 4:30 pm.
All spots were places SK and I had been to at least once or more.

Nice finds! Really like the fob!

Hey F.P.D.
Any makers mark on the ring? looks like it could be a OB Ostby Barton ring and they command a little more money.

Great finds!

Hi D.V. There is no makers mark. just the Sterling stamp, Thanks.

Great find on the watch fob. I sure would like to find one of those since I live just outside of the town where those tractors were made.

Hey F.P.D.

Check this item out on ebay and you will see just how special that fob is.

What a great find !

Thanks for the info D.V.!
Wow. It is even a better find than I thought.
The 11 inch deep hole in hard ground was all worth it :)
Was a miracle I didn't scuff it.
