A few gold rings from the winter surf

Conditions here in Connecticut aren't too bad; the waves were a little high but a recent storm cut away some of the beaches and we have some good low-low tides this week. Found these two gold signet rings in about three feet of water on a private beach. The bottom had a LOT of trash; I guess rich people litter just as much as the average Joe does.;)

I'm still getting used to my PI unit and this is only my third time out with it. I'm a newbie, but finds like this make me want to play hookie during the week and hit the beach.

I have a White's Surfmaster PI Plus. It's not the newer PI PRO, but so far I've done fairly well with it. I'm sending it off to Mr. Bill at Surfscanners to have the mods done to it to lower the pulse delay so it'll pick up gold a little better. I have the regular (not zero-buoyancy) coil, but it seems to not be a problem while wading with it. I can swing it for three to four hours without any problems. I do have a lot of cold weather gear like the thickest neoprene waders and goretex outerwear and shoulder-length gauntlet gloves. My biggest problem is coordination time away from the wife and kids at low tide time.

Hi

I have the Surfmaster PI that was modified by Mr Bill and I absolutely love it. I had to send it in to White's due to cracked case and they sent it back in a new PI Pro case.
Nice Rings

I would, but the ring is WAY too small. Both rings are ladies rings; either that or for some really girly-man:lmfao:

I've been hoping to find something my wife would really like, that way she'd be more apt to let me hunting every weekend.

The signet with the initials on it has a 10k stamp; the other one is so worn there is nothing on the top nor on the inside. It looks like at least 10k though. So far I haven't found any 14k or 18k, but I'm hoping!!
