A Few Garrett AT PRO VDI #'s

Here are a few of the numbers I came up with when testing a few coins yesterday.

US Coins

Morgan Silver Dollar 99

Roosevelt Silver Dime 83

Victory Nickle 52-53

Seated Dime 84-85

Standing Liberty Silver Quarter 88

Washington Silver Quarter 89

Three Cent Piece 49-50

Walking Liberty Silver Half Dollar 96

Kennedy 40% Silver Half Dollar 92-93

Franklin Silver Half Dollar 96

Buffalo Nickle 52-53

It turns out that these VDI numbers do the same thing that my XLT did. If a coin is silver you can add about 2 or three to the clad VDI. Of course depth will change things.

I know you have a few Lincoln wheats....go ahead and test them.... You got them at the show this past weekend.......

The Morgan Dollar I tested was uncirculated and I tested two coins in the same condition.

I guess there will be many variables, these are just the results from testing with my machine.

The VDI on the three cent piece is for the nickle version of the coin. I can't seem to edit the post again as I found a couple of spelling errors in the post and edited 2 times.

I'd like to see a chart of VDI# 70-79, I pass these up unless I'm in a very old spot, figure they are mostly pennies
