Let me start by saying the reason I post is for for anyone to look at and tell what they think. I seek knowledge on my pictures. The only way to get better is to take pictures and let people tell me it may have been better at this setting or this angle. SO pleae feel free to say what you think. It will not offend me but only help.
Thank's
One last note, it is really hard to have a good quality picture at the limited space of 129 kb. I really prefer 150 to 189 kb for my pictues to look their best.

Man, I'm on that board with the dude, soaring with the gull, about to be pecked by the Egret or whatever it is and right inside FL2170 paddling away. My quality problem is the same as yours Tom...Limited space  That RM dude is Fired after two days on the job

Just for kicks try making the people in the boat black and white and leaving the water blue or make the water black and white and leaving the people in color.
Lets see how it looks.

That's a great idea RM. Only thing is I'm not sure how to do that. Do you have a web address where they may assist me in this project? I now have PSCS2
Thank's

Tom,
1st use the pen tool in PS to set points around the area you wish to select. I find the pen tool easier to use that have to hold down the mouse and trace to make a selction. After you have set your points and completed the connection on the points that automatically creates a path in the paths menu. Pull down the paths menu and make a selection out of your path and set feathering to 0.

2nd edit>copy>paste this puts your selction into a new layer. Now you have 2 layers to work with. Make sure your selection is aligned were you want it in your image.

3rd highlight the bottom layer or your background layer and convert it to B/W under Image Mode Grayscale.

There you have it. No save as JPEG and you are done. I think I've included everything.

I must be doing something wrong. I tried it about five times and each time everything is in black black and white... Not sure what I'm doing wrong?

Ok RM, I have both people with the blinking lines around them. After this I can't seem to get it to work. Sorry I'm so slow on this.I have been through what you have said and it just don't seem to work. When I convert to gray scale everything turns gray... HELP :)
