A few from this morning...

These were found in a field right beside the field that I have been finding relics in for 2 years. I have checked this other field before but did not go deep enough into it evidently. Can anyone id the object that appears to be a canteen spout? It looks to be made of pewter. The rest are 3 ringers and cleaners both fired and dropped and large pieces of camp lead. 2 buttons but only the back to one (Horstmann and Allien NY) and a disintegrating Scoville eagle. Also what appears to be some kind of cuff link and assorted brass. Thanks for looking.

David, no this is a 7 acre field but woods are around both fields. The funny thing is, these relics were found far back in the field away from the road by at least 1/4 mile. The other field gave up relics only about 50 yards from the road and so when I scouted the neighbor's field I only looked in around that distance and gave up. I found one piece of camp lead and that is when I headed towards the back of the field. Even though soybeans are just popping up in this field I had to go back this morning and give it another shot. My Nautilus died on me so I used the Tejon to find this next grouping. I really like the Harrington & Bogue eagle button. Of course there was the ever present harmonica reeds as well. I will definitely be hitting those woods this Winter!
Mike ;)
