All the finds came from the park I've been hunting, but in 4 hunts. Its hard to get 2 good finds in one hunt here as its been hit hard in the past. The ring is marked hong kong, the oldest wheats are 11 and 17 and the buff. is one of the best I ever dug and the silver is 64-35-07. I hope to get in a few more hunts before the ground freezes. Thanks 4 lookin Mike.

GREAT FINDS

In this "business" some times finding one keeper is the best you can do
And some times that one keeper makes the hunt

(I once spent hunting a field for seven hours and I got my one and only V Nickel and I still believed it was worth it)
(I also remember the first time I found more than one silver at a hunt and that was amazing)

Excellent finds Mike, I agree with Banditicey and Willam. One old coin in any hunt makes it worth while and you did good.

Congrats Mike - great looking coins - seeing a Barber come out of the ground is always a wonderful thing !

Very impressive Mike. Thanks for the pictures. That Barb. looks like it was dropped in '07 also.

Dont give up on this park their is more, move slowly for the deeper coins. I search parks thats been pounded for 30 + years and still walk out with silver and copper finds. hunt smart and dig iffy signals.. happy hunting.

Every one here is right it is worth it!!

I spent all day yesterday pounding a small probably 20 x 50 ft strip along side a tennis/basketball court in a small park down the street. I have been hitting this backside sloped area for the last few weeks hard with several different detectors. I got 2 pouches full of trash, one in the am and one in pm after a lunch break and only one coin all day to show for it a 1944 P silver war nickle. I love finding them anyday.

Yep it was worth it to me and I would do it all over again!!

Congrats to you!!
