Went out to try and find some relics did't have much luck but got an axe head, horseshoe, two fossils.....one I found and one I was given, and the odd iron hook thing. Anybody have any ideas on it?

I think it was used to roll logs. I'm not sure what the name of the tool is. But I've seen them being used. Since you found an ax head, looks like you were in a old logging camp.

Thanks for your help guys. Another guy on a different forum told me it was a pee vee to roll logs with so I guess your right.

It's called a log dog. Used with a chain or a rope to drag logs, they are usually used in pairs. I hope this helps.
