A few finds from the park.

Actually the roached Indian head came from a hunt with a fellow forum member, dalpal (John) We met up on Wednesday afternoon and hunted a cool foundation site. Everything else was found at the park I stopped by after work for a couple hours yesterday. Someday one of those diamonds is going to be real. All the finds were in the 4-6 inch range mixed in with heavy heavy trash.

You did it again, Butch!.An Indian, a Buff, a Barber(?), neat key and a 'diamond' ring!! Got yo' mojo workin'

Butch,

Hunted out parks? You prove that it is probably never going to happen. The "V" I found was 1908. Found my 3rd Batwing at the same foundation site. Plus my oldest intact pewter spoon.

Got to love this weather,

John

Butch ... nice finds !

William-NM ... you are right in a sense. We call that one a Liberty Head Nickel, but Charles Barber designed it.

Thanks, McDave - I wondered if it was just a reversed image, had to pull out my couple Barbers to check. Still a lot to learn. The irony is that my dad owned a coin & stamp shop in Chicago. I was never the least bit interested in them, even when I liquidated his estate, and now I just love finding them!!

Don't you just love the look of old keys. They just dont make em like that anymore

WTG B....Great hunt...Again...can ya push some of that good stuff over my neck of the concrete???

HH,
