A few finds from Saturday morning.

Looks like you had a good day. That 1914 looks like a work of art. It seems like people in the south were mostly broke around 1900. I've found 1 barber quarter but a lot of mercery dimes.

Wish I could have the same report. Went out to Pennslyvania/Ohio border to hunt and old 1800's abandon campground. Didn't find any 1800's stuff other than square nails and iorn.

Hi Bob
Haven't really went anywhere special or done anything differently. I've just been using the small coil exclusively at the same places I've hunted in the past. Not to mention countless others. This coil is just awesome at hearing the coins mixed in with the junk. Sounds like you need another fix at the iceberg. I saw Nate's post he had some nice keepers. Was that an 1872 Indian? looked real good.

Wow! Congrats!!!!

I haven't had that good a morning since...well....forever! :surprised:

And the rings is cool! Is it gold? And the stone...jade?

Marc

Rainy, what was the coil size your using these days again? I know you said it once but I forgot. Your on such a roll here, you've certainly got my attention. Keep up the good finds and pictures.:|Marc Trainor.

Hi Marc.
I've been using the Minelab 8" coil. Seems to do the job well without losing much depth.

Thanks Marc.
The ring is silver and I think the stone is jade. Still trying to get the lighting right with my pictures.
