This is an 1806 Napoleon Metal that was given to members of his army after conquering a country/state/town. Each one given out will depict Napoleon and the place he conquered.

This Half Reale was found in a field in the middle of the city near where I live. I have taken many coins from that field and it has been hunter for 40 years by locals.

The coins I hold in my hand are the first coins found on the first day in the Field of Dreams.

This is the best of my share of coppers taken from that field over 3 days. All have dates and the oldest is 1736.

You would go nuts in this field Jeff. I am going to post a pic of the field with the Hot Spots marked in the order we found them. An old stage road runs along the dotted line. #4 being last weekend.
Take note of the small field at the top of the pic. Headed there in a week or so when the weather allows.

That Napolean medal is very nice, and so are all the others. Your hunt sites look like they will keep you busy for some time to come. I'm sure there's a lot more where those came from.

Good hunting,
OldeTymer
