A few finds and a seal matrix ring...

Long time no post! I have been lurking the forums and getting out for short hunts. Looking for new areas to detect, most new fields have been duds but I have made some finds. Also have done some quick lunch hunts on the army post and have found around $40.00 in battery money, LOL. Here

I found a brooch similiar to yours years ago. It was silver. I took it to a jeweler had it cleaned up and had some rubies set in on it. Later on we went to dinner and a dance and when we got home my wife noticed the brooch was missing. Probably unlatched at the dance, never saw it again.

Nice finds!

Could the seal ring be of a cooper. The hammer and barrel make me think of that unless that is a beer making tool in his hand.

Living vicariously through others finds. Too busy to get out on the land - building a house.

the seal ring is from a barrel maker, it was also suggested by a few others on this side of the world, LOL. It is made of bronze, 90% copper, 10% tin. HH, Mike

Very nice finds, WTG
