A few F75 units left...

As the explosion on these has been unexpected.....First Texas can't make 'em fast enough...they are selling like hot cakes...but deservedly so! I need to send my proto back for the JE update, & boy I'm gonna miss it! The T2 is a decent hold over though..:)

Im sure You know something about what coil will be next size/shape/DD?
Are you ready to share or are Fisher afraid the sale is getting out of hand as it is.?

Can the F75 handle both concentric and DD s ??

I have the opportunity to try a F75 this week here in Norway.:detecting:

Anything specific you advice me to try that is a real eyeopener?
I sure there is much but have limited time on it.

Someone had read a Dutch paper on the F75 and most of the metals were pretty without translation. One however was "loodjes". The closest to a translation I can find would be "Lodges" as like a hunting Lodge, but I doubt that the paper was scanning for lodges.....
Have a great hunt! I think you'll love the F75.

Belgian report. Here it is again.

I bounced "Loodje", the one item a F75 didn't catch at 19cm, against the Internet (Babel Fish tanslator doesn't do Flemish) and it returned this

as a 23mm coin, lead I think.

Hi

In this explanation of some dutch terms Loodje is marked in yellow.
I think loodje means any piece of lead or just lead.

probably around 5" inches.....No idea how soon or anything, may be down the road. But I guess that answers the question on weather the F75 can do both DD & concentric coils...

Lets all hope its not a long wait. It will probably come fast and with the volume of F 75 s to be sold I personally dont think there will be a lack of coil options.

Another hope is that they use the existing Fisher 5" coil molds.

to choose from....also all the small Bounty Hunter molds too. But they may be re-tooling another coil housing. If I find out more I'll defiantely post it here. But, at least we know a small coil is in the works, as I have seen a couple posts saying I won't buy an F75 without a small coil. Unfortunately these folks have no idea just how good the stock DD coil is slicing into iron trash like a knife. Don't let the coil size/look fool you....I have done better with that coil than all my Fisher 5" ones....

Unfortunately these folks have no idea just how good the stock DD coil is slicing into iron trash like a knife.

True nuff. DD coils have a narrow "sweet spot" down the center, but they do "phantom echo" off the outer edges on shallow targets. If you're having trouble in shallow trash where a 5" concentric coil might help, just lift the DD coil 3" off the ground and repeat the sweep. Or "wobble" the coil in narrow arcs over the target.

Don't have an F75 (yet) but I swing DD coils.

Now, if you can convince SunRay to offer a probe for the F75 . . .

I have only held one in my hand for half a minute. It was the best balanced detector I have tried. No doubt! It was also a quality build.

As i said, i believe the volume of sales this one is going to bring will ensure that the sunray probe and several coils will be made.

I am just saying the 5" CZ coil or Gold Bug ellipticals would be my preference for quality coils as they are awsome. The BH 4.5 did not impress me.

I am looking foreward to try one.

Had 1 hour on the F 75 today.

I have tried most brands and models in the upper end and what i can say is:

Incredible target separation, respone and recovery speed is just unbelievable. it really is. I liked the fast sound feedback, I have never hunted nuggets but I probably know more about the term ZipZip then before I used the F 75.We did lay some samples at the ground to experience what I have read about the separation. It is all true.

We tried my detector and the F 75 on many targets and the F 75 did not do worse then mine on any target.

The F 75 choose the better target more often then mine when a bad and good target was in the hole.

I was fooled twice by old iron but that is how a want a good detector to report, much better then to report all suspectible iron as iron.

My setting for the test was pf,dp,sens 50 and disc at 4.Some chatter at that disc set but i took the detector to my worst place where I have troubles with most any detector.

Did not find any hammered but never have, its a more modern site around the 1860s-1920s, did find very small finds down to birdshots and one silver coin just as the US 2 cent.It was a ten ore 1897 only at 2 inches.

Small finds is truly no worry, this machine was not unstable at all even when raising sens to 75 or increasing disc to 30. just done for the test a few minutes.

Can we call it a ZIP-Zip coindetector.

regards.

Hi Bobby,

I'll try and make time. Right now my priority is getting my excavator out to my mine.

I have a little time on the F75 and am impressed with the all-metal mode and fast recovery. I think it will do fine on nuggets. But the lack of coils at this time limits it as a serious choice for nugget detecting. Might be ok for those who want a general purpose unit and might nugget hunt but rarely.
