A few evening park finds.

Great coins Butch. Lookslike the ATP has been a super coin getter 4 U for a while.

That's funny John, but the fact is I'm not really going anywhere special I would say 95% of my coins are coming from local parks that have been hunted since metal detectors have been around. Heck I have been hunting them for the past 10+ years plus I have some friends who still hunt them on a regular basis, not to mention other people I've seen hunting them. It just goes to show you how good the AT Pro really is. I read alot of negative comments out there about the ATP and it makes me chuckle as I keep growing my coin collection every time out. To bad for them they didn't take the time to learn the machine.

I believe the extra kHz is what makes the difference. I used to have an old MXT;
it was a great machine but ld and well worn. I did several experiments with it against
my Ace 250 operating at 6.5 kHz. I would go over an area about 20 x 20 and crisscrossed
to make sure I didn't miss any thing. Then I went back over the same area with the
MXT operating at 15 kHz and sure enough I picked up what the Ace missed. It's not that
the Ace is a bad detector; it is just fine but the kHz is what made the difference in my opinion.
The AT Pro operating at 15 kHz will naturally pick up more.
