A few Easter weekend finds

~ACE~

New member
Scored a 1946 silver dime and two 1950's pennies in one hole, an old toy train, a 1947 British penny, a pretty cool little sign and an old silver plated hair clip that has seen better days. It was just nice to get out!

Mike,
You nailed it! Thank you. I don't suppose you would have any idea of its age, would you?

So Ace, where was this hunt? Okanagan is in northeastern Washington which would also account for the Canadian coins.
Just curious.

I'm in Canada. There is an Okanagan Valley in southern British Columbia, Canada also. I think it may be from there.

Nice finds ACE, I like the train toy. It looks like it was a good weekend

You know what....I don't remember lol. It gave a high tone, but not sure of the numbers. I knew it was big, and normally would probably not dig it, but my dad was with me and he wants to dig everything. Lol. It was his first time witnessing the hobby, so I dug EVERYTHING because he thought it could all be treasure...I guess in a way, he was right...but I won't tell him that!
