I can't believe I found a heart today... one day before Valentine's Day. It says "Jamestown Exposition" across the top, and "Norfolk Virginia 1907" on the bottom. This exposition was to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the Jamestown settlement. Teddy Roosevelt and Mark Twain attended. A miniature city was constructed at Sewell
 
john, this is a fob that i found from that exposition. they must have made a few different
items to remember that occasion. i found it here in baltimore.

Yours is in much better shape. I found mine in a bean field, so it has been exposed to all sorts of chemicals over the years. It appears that the Exposition was quite an event. I understand that a small city was built as part of the event. I wonder if any of those structures are still around. If so, they'd be on the navy base in Norfolk.
