I have been lucky and got a good full day of detecting in this week. That is about as good as it gets. Thanks for looking and HH. :beers: :usaf:

Those are some great finds...I love the coins...what are they?
I do have a question tho...I work for BMW in USA and the Germans there told me it was againt the law to MD in Germany?...And also against the law to own anything with a swastika on it?...Ist this true?

Rotty23, The coins are phennings and the corroded one is a 3 krultzer. You can have the Nazi stuff but you have to cover the swastika up with tape. You are supposed to get permits of some kind over here from the courthouse to detect but the local police know nothing about the laws about it. I have been told just to turn in anything of historical value (mainly roman stuff). They really are not worried about the last 300 years or so. They do not want you hunting WW2 areas because of the unexploded bombs. I have had no problems hunting over here and a alot of the people tell me that I am not gonna find anything and want to tag along . Some point me to good spots. It has been a blast. The history is so rich and there is so much of it. I will be leaving in about 8 months and I will sure miss having so much good area to hunt. Right now I am stuck woods hunting because of the grassis high and all the fields are planted. It is still fairly productive. Thanks for looking and HH.:beers:
