A few days ago he started talking...

...and today he started eating!!! Praise the Lord!! Mom and dad watched him today while we worked and he asked them if they would take him to play miniature golf. Mom told him he couldn't play if didn't start eating! Well...he had two soft tacos and some crackers. After dinner he asked if I would take him to the store to get some food so off we went and loaded up on all the foods he likes to eat. When we got back home he wanted crescent rolls so I made him some and he put most of two of them away! When I hooked him up to his oxygen sensor in bed, Brian moaned with a big smile on his face...."My stomach hurts dad!!" He has earned a trip to the miniature golf course tomorrow.

To hear him talk was wonderful but to see him eat is more joyous than I can express!! He would try to eat and then start crying out of frustration because he couldn't chew. I explained it to his surgeon yesterday at our follow up visit and he just smiled and said it was because Brian had so much more room in his mouth that it felt unusual to him.

I just wanted to update you on his progress!! Your prayers were answered once again!!!

I've been keeping up with the posts and am praying for all the requests.

he will enjoy all the old foods even more now. Thanks for the positive update, I'll pray for him tonight, Steve in so az

when I hear of all he has gone through and how he has come through it so well there is 2 things I know:

God is in control

And the blessings we have in just knowing Brian and his faith, he has a beautiful crown waiting for him!

God bless you Brian (prayers for you all)
