I did switch modes once in a while. A weak signal in Field 2 will hit harder in Park 1. In this area,there are some high voltage lines so I usually hunt in Field 2. It seems to work well for me. Fastdraw...You are so right! A dateless slq beats 20 old wheats that you can't hardly read any day!

Finding the optimal mode/ settings is key Ted. Thats what I love about this machine it's like having a whole arsenal of detectors with a touch of a button. Nice job on the old silver!
