A few 2008 finds

The top four on right are IH Penny's 1863 -1907, left Mercury dime, 7 Canadian large cents, far bottom left 4 foreign coins, bottom middle one token, and a bunch of silver - dimes quarters- nickels and a 50 cent. Also found 2 class rings, 2 gold rings, Sterling rings... Hope you enjoy this post..
 
Nice finds. I'm having a hard time finding any silver these days.

Yes, very nice finds. I too am not finding many silver coins ... exactly 2 over the last year ... but most of the places I hunted over the last year have newer construction and fill. I'll need to go knock on doors at some older sites.

yes i drive the back roads find old schools abandon sites old church yards, Fields next to them the property was maybe used back then .
 
Keep hunting you will find an area that will produce,and you will find older thing. Try old towns they have old schools, church grounds, parks..
 
Where you from? Canada? looks like coins I've never seen before except for walker half and merc dime. But that silver looks good no matter.
