It's been cold and rainy around here the last couple of days. This morning it let up for a little while and I decided to do a little relic hunting.

I went to a site that has produced some very old relics for me I have hunted it with four different metal detectors and finds have been getting harder to find. Now I have a fifth metal detector to try out there. The site seemed to open up and share more relics than before. I couldn't stay long because the rain came back. But I did manage to find an old leather punch. ( Boy they don't make them like they used to. ) I have also found three chisels.

I think it's cool to clean these old tools up and just enjoy them as a hands on piece of our history.
