An early Father's Day gift.

Last night, I had just turned off the news and was ready for some much needed sleep when I heard Brian say "Thank you, daddy." And then a moment of silence. I smiled, thinking he was talking in his sleep

Oh, thank you, Doug, for your posting the blessing that you gave your son and the blessing he gave back to you! Sounds like a really challenging ordeal to go through for a bath and getting him ready for sleeping, but he is truly blessed to have a good father like you, as many fahter's would not do that and the mother would be doing it! I know you both take care of him and what a blessing for Brian!

When I almost broke my fingers on my right hand from falling forward and catching myself with my right hand and arm, I had a terrible time getting in and out of the tub! So, I have an understanding of how difficult it was for Brian and for you to help get him in and out for a bath!

God is so good to His own and Brian is a very special child and blessing from God! God is using Brian to help others to keep the faith and go through any problems and trials they may have! God Bless you, Carol, Brian and Sarah!
