I live in Montague, high on a bluff overlooking a big bayou, and huge sand dunes and the highway separate us from Lake Michigan and it's a REAL good thing for us, because...….On the Lake Michigan side of the road, Lake Michigan's been at record level highs, and- Today into tonight, we have up to 40 knot winds coming in out of the west dead on shore, 5-7 foot waves....All this and all the other high wind storms we've had this year, have led Lake Michigan to eat into the dunes at least a good 10 feet so far this year; and for some of the homes on top of the Dunes overlooking the Lake, this means we could be REAL CLOSE to a world class disaster in our area, because a few of them homes are REAL CLOSE to collapsing into Lake Michigan , and it keeps getting worse, with more dunes being reclaimed by the Lake every day....PLEASE;PRAYERS ARE NEEDED, a world class disaster in the making needs to be avoided, and God is the only one that can help. Amen, Warthog Steve.
