A days wading in salt water

Sailorman

New member
A days wading at our favorite lagoon with some friends, not bad really! I'd like to thank the folks who've been tossing coins in there! All three of us did pretty good but my partner with his AT-Pro really hit a honey of a spot and did better then all of us. He just stayed in one small area scopping away with a smile on his face.....

This was from shoreline towaist deep. My wife was working near the rocks, trees and shoreline with her new Vibratector 730 and pulled better then half the quarters and a bunch of the sinkers. I was hitting lots of dimes!

23 quarters
27 dimes
9 nickels
23 pennies
11 sinkers
Spoon
Bracelet

Brilliant that's what I call a good days searching really good to no the at pro worked really well in the saltwater also:) do you no how your friend set it up for saltwater hunting plz?

We run pretty much the same. Ground balance usually at somewhere between 8 and 11 in the water (usually do a manual ground balance and drop 5 more or so) and two bars down on sensitivity. Pro audio with iron 27 and below disced out and the rest open. Haven't found iron audio real dependable in a salt environment. Often get a grunt either side of it when it's just a clad coin. We both ran the same coil. He just hit a spot full of goodies while I was working about 50 to 100 feet further away. Not complaining at all! We hunt together all the time and seem to trade off lucky days.

Thanks alot mate:) I think you both got some really nice finds n like u say its just down to luck on the day the next time out it might be u who's pulling a nice solid gold ring up:) good luck to you both on your next hunt will after watch a video on this water hunting it sounds pretty good
