From the land of the Bluenose.....it was raining so hard that I just turned over and went back to sleep. That is till Marie "ordered' me out of bed to drive her to work. What the halibut. Got up and cleaned up and automatically threw my detecting gear and Kermit the frog boots into the car and away we went. After that it was off to Tims and a quick trip to Windsor where the weather had done a complete turn around. Picked up Makinholes and away we went to Hantsport. We had hammered this place a few times but one never gets it all as we immediately began to pop clad coins. Nothing of note found with the odd ball find of the day being a Winnie the Pooh charm which was cute but not silver!
We took a break halfway through and hit Tims for coffee and paper work and resumed our dig. At that point each of us had about 30 coins and Myles had to get home to attend to his children returning from school.
I stopped at my old spot there after and netted two embrossed bottles and two toasty Nova Scotian tokens 1840 which I turned over to the property owner. Nice pleasant uneventful dig with a good Bud and a new to me machine!
Days total was 46 coins @ $4.89, dog tag, Winnie, 2 tokens, two golf balls and the 2 old bottles.
