A Day of 14's...

Today I went out to a playgroung with swings, monkey bars, slideing boards, etc. There was not any trash at all on this ground. I mean nothing... not pull tabs, no bottle caps, no gum wrappers. So I decided to dig everything that gave a reading above 0 VDI. I got only 6 signals in an hour. a quarter (85 VDI), a nickel (20 VDI), and 4 fourteens shown in the photo. A ring, an earring shaped like a pawprint, an earring a stone (?) in a golden pin, and this mangled chain braclet. Could these all possibly gold? What do you think. Anyway gonna try to find a jeweler to tell me. HH.

James,
Hard to tell from pics but considering where you where here are some guesses.
The bracelets look like gold, the ring and one earing look like silver and I am "very interested" in the earing since it is not a clip on which might indicate a childs earing. Since it is pierced and if the housing is gold you just might have a diamond there.
Mail it to me and I will check it out... <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
Also did the gold looking items come out of the ground clean? If so another indication they may be gold.
HH,
Johnny B

Hey James, Congratulations and thanks for the VDI Readings, HH/LO. Please let us know what the jeweler tells you on gold confirmation.
