From the land of the Bluenose...thought I'd sharea few photos of the halifax Public Gardens which is the oldest Victorian Garden in North America. Back about 20 years ago when I was a constable I actually had a whole week to dig in this magnificant park which yielded some great coins. Enjoy

Halifax is , or was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. That public gardens must have some wonderful old stuff in it. I was there in 1960 or 61 on an American aircraft carrier. That was the USS Essex CVA19. Halifax gave us a great welcome, and if there is a place i'd like to visit again, it would be Halifax. I have never been to a more beautiful or cleaner place. People don'ttrash there like they do in the states. Keep the pics coming. I love to see them.
