A dark and foggy hunt...

Detected a field for about 1.5 hours. The fog was rolling in on the drive home after work but I was determined to get some detecting time on a local field. After checking in at home and getting ready, I got to the field just as dusk was settling into night. Stepped into the field and started swinging, looked around at the thick fog and a grey cast above the black plowed field and thought how great it was being there in this eerie setting, I expected the Scooby Doo van to show up anytime. Found a few coins, some trash and a great time in the ghostly environment. Here

Reminds me of a post you made some months back......

My wife wants me to blow this pic up for a framed picture in our living room. Your post re-reminds me to do so......

Kind Regards,
Jules

send me an email at Espy@beer.com and I'll send you a bigger, more detailed JPEG. It will help on the quality of the pic if you want to enlarge it. I'm trying to get back to that site, it's on the other side of Germany. A town once stood just below the castle but was destroyed by a flash flood around 1750. This is a dream site to hunt but I can't hunt directly on the ruins, down stream will be great. HH, Mike
