This is my main detector on sites loaded with foil and tabs , it really excells at finding nickels for some reason. The small 7.5 inch coil helps alot.:)
 
never used one,however read a lot about 'em!..teknetics has had it's share of followers over the years!..i also read that they WERE good in trash!..too!

The super long shaft gives a very wide sweep too , this is something i like on a detector a nice wide sweep. The depth is pretty reasonable too although not as deep as say a explorer. Still not bad.

Cut my teeth on a Mark-1 back in 85. One of the best analog detectors ever designed.
Sold My Personal Custom Conversion below......Never will forget the Mark-1....

I used to have a Mark I, not the LTD though. I do have a Big Bud Jr. It doesnt have all the bells and whistles as the Mark but it seems to have the same tones. It may do about the same on depth too, though Im not sure.
Thats a cool machine, let me know if you ever want to sell it.
