Hello,everybody.
My install of a PP Switch for the ExCal Hip Mount is coming together allright. But now I discover a loose connection in my Grey Ghosts. They cut out when I slap the side with the Connect/Toggle side...Stupid is as Stupid does.A short while after I got them,I decided to cut that Toggle Switch off,it seemed rather delicate and easely damaged.
.Cut,Cut Cut.Off came the Toggle, and a LITTLE Spring flew South.Since I'd cut it off flush,I did'nt know what it was set at.Sterio/Mono.Soooo.I took my Dremel and cut out an access to just hard Wire the thing.Well,I did just that and used it for Years....UUmmm,do the Muffs open in any form or fashion?,to give me access to check for a bad Wire.otherwise I'll have to recut the Patch Job.Thanks.Ken in Panama.

They pry apart where the ear cup meets the front black plate. They just snap together.
Whatever you use try pry them open with, be careful you don't slip with the tool you use and hurt yourself.
Start at the bottom of the ear cup.

Sven,and all.
Thank you for your input.Found the bad connection and got it re-soldered.I also found a bad Wire/Connection in the Plug in Cord Connector( Grey Ghost N/D)..I had both my Detectors (Explorer SX,Excalibur 1000) in the Pawn Shop for almost Two Years(I'm a Poor Man Ha ha) They moved thier location and I think my Machines recieved some abuse in the process.Normaly,NO ONE touches My Detectors or my Motorcycle!!(I have an old Chinese 250cc.) Once more, thanks.Ken
